Worship

I do not need your garlands and fruits. They are not genuinely yours. Give me something that is yours, something which is clean and fragrant with the perfume of virtue and innocence and washed in the tears of repentance.

Mere formal worship or mechanical routine performance of rituals cannot induce God to recite in the heart.

Merely going to the temple and offering worship offering a coconut, expecting some reward — all these are a wrong way of understanding devotion.
